Lila Project has learnt the art of addressing the root of the rot to ensure buildings last for more than 3 years, a fact that is far from being implemented currently. Cosmetic repair work and mismanaged procedures invariably lead to generations of buildings and repair work.
Engineers are not required to have any formal Design & Apprenticeship training. Additionally around 95% of Graduate Civil Engineers are employed by the construction industry which is not yet a government recognised industry and rife with untrained construction workers who are the only direct resource to hands on experience learning for the new civil engineer. It is a sad fact that most senior and trained civil engineers are not present at construction sites to assist graduate civil engineers imbibe the correct experiential knowledge.
